Daily heat advisories force us all to find creative ways to NOT succumb to dangerous temperatures and related illnesses. Parks and Recreation is helping to relieve heat woes by extending summertime hours at these locations:

Plano Aquatic Center, 2301 Westside Drive
Indoor pool and outdoor splash pad
New Hours: Monday through Friday – 11 am - 3 pm
                    Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 7:15 - 9:30 pm
                    Saturdays and Sundays – 1 - 6 pm 

The outdoor splash pad will be open through Sunday, September 17.
