Hardly a month goes by anymore without news of yet another violent attack in a mall, school or church. The Plano Police Department (PPD) again presents in-person training, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE), in June to teach survival strategies to citizens.
Join our public safety professionals for a free workshop about what to do should you ever find yourself under attack. The 2-hour CRASE training empowers you to respond to and survive active shooter incidents. Participants receive instruction on how to use the "Run, Hide, Fight" strategies and other survival options.
PPD believes training and educating the public on active shooter response is a critical component of preparing the entire community and reducing the loss of life if the unthinkable occurs.
