Enrollment for the Residential Food Scrap Composting pilot program is open! The project consists of dropping off food scraps for composting, including items not typically composted at home like meat (bones included), dairy and eggs. 

Registration is a TWO-STEP process: 

• STEP 1: Complete and submit a registration form. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email confirmation with a Submission ID and a link to pay the program fee. (This fee covers the Welcome Kit which includes food scrap collection pails, program guidelines/instructions, a Texas Pure Products compost sample and a coupon.)
• STEP 2: Use the link in your confirmation email to pay the $45 program fee. You'll need to enter the Submission ID in your confirmation email.

The first 500 Plano residents to complete both steps will become part of the pilot program.
