December 2022 was full of things to do, people to see, money to spend and hours to work, but more importantly, miles to move! Connect4Health sponsored its annual Marathon Mania this past month. The purpose of the event is to encourage Team Plano members to move more and develop healthy habits throughout the holidays. The hope is these habits will continue into the new year.
Some fun Marathon Mania stats for 2022:
- 260 employees signed up (a new record, thank you!)
- 189 participated
- 174 completed a half marathon (13.1 miles)
- 131 completed a full marathon (26.2 miles)
- 120 completed an ultra-marathon (31 miles +)
- Team Plano moved a total of 8,434 miles in December – that is equal to a road trip to Anchorage, Alaska and back to Plano!
