Human Resources has converted the paper Personnel Action Form (PAF) to an on-line process in PeopleSoft. The on-line process was rolled out in tiers, with the first release effective July 25, the second release effective August 29 and the final release effective October 10.
By using the electronic process, supervisors will:
When hiring a new employee or when a current employee is offered a job, information is input into the PeopleSoft Recruiting module using the “Prepare Job Offer” page. When inputting all other transactions for existing employees, information will be input into PeopleSoft using the “Update Team Information” tile under Manager Self Service. Human Resources refers to this as the “electronic PAF.”
Process notes and a quick reference sheet have been added to the Manager Resource site under the “PAF” tile.
With each release, Human Resources staff members went on-site or hosted Zoom meetings to demonstrate of the system and to answer questions about electronic PAFs. If you missed one of the meetings or have questions about the electronic process, another Zoom training is scheduled. You do NOT need to register to attend this session:
