Safeguard Your Protected Health Info (PHI) thru WebTPA

PHI Protected Health Information

Have you considered who in your family should or shouldn’t have access to your PHI (protected health information)? The WebTPA Portal allows you to manage who is granted or denied access. Due to HIPAA privacy rules, you or your family members are not able to view online claims information for a spouse or dependent over age 18 without their consent.

To access the portal, go to webtpa.com and login under Member Log In

Once you are in the portal, click on Claim Access Authorization

Access to your personal health information
To give permission for your family members to access your claims information, click the Grant button next to their name on the WebTPA portal page. You may also deny access to your online claims information here.

NOTE: You can only grant or deny access to family members who have an online account.

Access to a family member’s online claims information
To request access to one of your family members’ online claims information, click Request Access next to their name. Then email that person to request they authorize your access to the claims info. They’ll need an online account to grant you access.

Once these steps are completed, you will have access to your dependents’ information. If you need assistance, please contact WebTPA at 844-380-4552 or email helpme@webtpa.com..
