View All Calendars is the default. Choose Select a Calendar to view a specific calendar. Subscribe to calendar notifications by clicking on the Notify Me® button, and you will automatically be alerted about the latest events in our community.
This class will provide an overview of the City of Plano purchasing process, including the legislation and City policies that govern us. There will also be some detail regarding the procedures that are used, areas of responsibility, and the various methods of procurement. This class is intended for any City Staff members that are, or may be, involved in the procurement process for their department (i.e., writing specifications, evaluating bids/proposals/qualifications, creating DPOs or ORs, etc.). A separate class is offered for those requiring training for the attainment of a procurement card (p-card), however, this class will also meet the p-card training requirement. This class will not cover the details of the J.D. Edwards purchasing processes.
