Advanced Presentation Skills - Two Day Course

This advanced course will cover the following:

Intended Audience: This two-day course is designed to help experienced professionals develop a conscious ongoing strategy for improving public communication on a lifelong basis. You will have 1 1/2 weeks to work on your presentation between the first and the second class. You may use a current presentation or develop a new one.

Students will learn and apply skills associated with better public communication. Specific emphasis is made in learning and practicing:

1. Principals of delivery such as eye contact, proper volume, and body movement

2. The basic strategies of organizing speeches

3. An appreciation and understand of audience perspectives in processing speeches

4. Strategies for speech designs in relation to different types of audiences
