Be Tobacco Free with C4H’s Cessation Program

Tobacco Cigarette stack

The use of tobacco includes chewing tobacco, cigars and pipes, hookahs, cigarettes, snuff, dip and bidis – all dangerous. Did you know the City’s Connect4Health Wellness Program provides FREE tobacco cessation counseling through two program options? Consider either of these choices:

  • Quit for Life, a telephonic cessation program providing a “quit” coach to assist in creating a realistic plan to stop tobacco use.

  • An on-site cessation program facilitated by Senior Wellness Coordinator Michelle Gifford. The course involves three 1-hour meetings; locations vary, so contact Michelle for updated information.

Both support services have excellent track records for helping people become tobacco free. Visit the TeamPlano Wellness page for more details about this exciting opportunity. Hear from a member of the Plano family who had great success with becoming tobacco-free after decades of smoking...this video is inspiring!
