Summers Outside are Cool Again at Play in the Park

play in park 2

Do you remember playing hide and seek, jump rope, hopscotch and marbles outside until Mom made you come in? The Parks and Recreation staff is bringing simple fun back to being outdoors. Join the “cool” kids outside for Play in the Park every Wednesday from June 6 through August 8.

Drive or walk your children to this free event at Willowcreek Park, 2101 Jupiter Road. The amusement starts at 9 a.m. Plano Parks and Recreation staff brings everything needed for old-fashion gaming (tag, jump the river and more) at the park. Meet new people and encourage your kids to enjoy physical activities at an early age.

The staff even serves up free popsicles and cold water. Bring your kids, grandchildren and the neighbor’s little ones to Play in the Park. Just show up and we'll bring the fun!
