Look. Up in the Sky! It’s a Partial Eclipse!

Solar eclipse watching

The brief, but incredible solar eclipse of August 21 brought countless pairs of eyes outside. With a variety of protective eyewear in hand, Plano employees were no different from the millions worldwide who sought a glimpse of what some will never see again.

Even though Plano was not in the path of “totality,” the 75 to 80% partial eclipse we were fortunate to see a fun and memorable distraction. Those who ventured outside shared store-bought viewing glasses, home-made cereal box views, paper pinhole cameras and even a welder’s mask with anyone who wanted a look.
