The North Texas runways will soon be peppered with over 50 guys wearing one-of-a-kind bras benefiting the Women Rock foundation. Four Plano Fire-Rescue (PFR) staff helped with a public debut of the undergarments they'll wear at the organization’s gala – Bras for a Cause: Battle of the Bras – in October. Fire Chief Sam Greif introduced the some of the men who will represent PFR: Cheyne Redden (Firefighter/Paramedic), Brian Malfitano (Firefighter/Paramedic), Nathan Fisk (Engineer) and Brad McCutcheon (Plano Firefighters Association Executive Board).
"The bras are going to be auctioned off, and all the proceeds go to Women Rock Collin County," said Brad; adding, “Nathan, Cheyne and myself have been affected by breast cancer in their families – thankfully, all survivors.”
Women Rock was founded just seven years ago by Luann Daniel after losing a friend to breast cancer. Chief Greif and the PFR models were joined by local survivors and Daniel to announce the Bras for a Cause: Battle of the Bras which is being hosted by the Women’s Council of Realtors. “It's a very serious cause, but even the survivors there that night will be celebrating and having as much fun as possible," says Chief Greif.
