On a budget and looking for something fun for the kids to do? Sometimes the best memories come from the simplest activities – like playing outside. The Parks and Recreation department wants to help give your children the gift of playing in the great outdoors with their free Play in the Park series!

From June 7 to August 9, children of all ages can join recreation staff at Willowcreek Park each Wednesday, 9-10 a.m. Your youngster will experience heart-pumping games like limbo, tag, relay races and much more. In addition to all the fun, there will be free popsicles too.

The purpose of the Play in the Park series is simple – to play! This is a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy the social and physical benefits of being outdoors. Child-play also promotes sportsmanship, teamwork and overall well-being.

No sign up is necessary—just come to Willowcreek Park (2101 Jupiter Road) and play. For more information, call 972-941-7250.
