Congratulations to Park Planning Manager Renee Jordan for accomplishing a career milestone. She recently graduated from the National Recreation and Park Associations Directors School. The Directors School is an exclusive two-year professional development course that prepares park and recreation professionals to be effective leaders.
Over the past two years, Renee covered curriculum such as leadership development, strategies, budget and finance, political environments, responding to changing communities, advocacy, conservation, crisis management, innovation, creativity and more.
People who complete the program leave with the knowledge and confidence to face emerging challenges, improve operations and maximize positive impact on their communities.
Renee says of the experience, “The program was a rewarding opportunity to meet with and learn from others serving their communities in the Parks and Recreation field!”
