ATMOS Energy presented a sizable check to Plano Fire-Rescue (PFR) at the October 22 City Council Meeting. Thanks to this unexpected donation, the department can purchase vital fire equipment which enhances our public safety officers’ ability to serve even more efficiently.
Atmos Public Affairs Manager Jan Rugg delivered the funds along with sentiments of her company’s gratitude, “This is in appreciation to the first responders and what they do in the community. Atmos has a partnership with Plano Fire-Rescue and we’re always looking for ways to support their work to keep the City safer.”
PFR Assistant Chief Chris Biggerstaff, PFR Deputy Chief Steve Poe and fellow firefighters to accept the $2,500 donation.
