Leadership for the 21st Century Churns Out New Graduates

L21 Grads 2018

Coworkers, supervisors, managers and directors gathered to support 2018 Leadership for the 21st Century Program grads. There were 24 people who successfully completed the 6-month program and received certificates at a recent ceremony held on September 26 at the Oak Point Retreat and Nature Center.

Tony Beasley, coordinator of Leadership for the 21st Century (L21) program, was emcee. Plano Fire Chief Sam Greif congratulated the group offered pearls of wisdom about their accomplishment. This group included graduates from the City of Murphy. 2018 L21 Class members:

Leadership for the 21st Century is designed for newly promoted or seasoned supervisors and employees who are preparing for leadership positions in the future. L21 helps enhance leadership skills by improving personal effectiveness and increasing knowledge…which positively impacts the City. Applications and supervisors' recommendations for the 2019 L21 Program will be accepted in January 2019.
