Make a day of traveling new terrain at the Wonders of Water (WOW!) Family Event on Saturday, September 22. Experience the joy of discovery when the City unveils its new Nature Explore Trail during WOW! You have the Sustainability & Environmental Education division to thank for creating such a beautiful and informative outdoor space for all ages.
Attend Wonders of Water for first-hand exposure to what it is to swim like a fish, hop like a frog or fly like a heron. You’ll learn all that and more at the Environmental Education Center’s new Nature Explore Trail. Delve into all the fun activities at this free event and get to know our creeks and their inhabitants a whole lot better. The trail features:
After the Trail’s official ribbon-cutting, the public is free to roam and share in all of the fun water education activities from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Environmental Education Center (4116 W. Plano Parkway).
Registering for the Wonders of Water Family Event is encouraged – although it is free.
