The Open Enrollment process for active employees and pre-65 retirees begins Thursday, October 11…just three weeks away! Any changes or plan elections you make go into effective January 1, 2019.
There are no changes to premiums, deductibles or copays this year. However, you must still log onto PeopleSoft in order to answer the Tobacco Certification question. If you fail to respond to the tobacco question, you will be automatically enrolled as a tobacco-user and your insurance premium will increase.
If you participate in the Flexible Spending Accounts program, you must re-enroll every year per Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requirements.
You must make your 2019 benefits plan selections during the Open Enrollment period, (Thursday) October 11 to (Thursday) October 25 – a 15-day window.
The Open Enrollment Benefits Guide Book will be distributed soon – it explains the enrollment process further and has details the plan!
Your Benefits. Your Choice.
